Call in the (Salvation) Army
While conducting this evening's ritual of shoehorning my coat into the closet, I took a census. The hall closet has 27 coats in it. Plus, my roommates were both out at the time, and given the weather, I assume they were each wearing a coat. That's 29 coats total.
Only one of them is mine.

omg...that is really bad...anyone heard of Salvation Army? omg...that is the title of your blog entry! ROFLOL! Yeah, time to move that crap out!!!

Wow. That is really scary. Any chance some of them belong to old roommates?

It is entirely possible some of these coats are from departed roommates. In approximately eight years, there have been a total of five people living here. I think that's still a lot of coats.
I keep reminding myself that I just collect different things--I have an awful lot of books taking up space. Just because I value books over winter coats or shoes, doesn't mean those things are actually less cumbersome, right? Maybe?
